One of my favorite parts of the Wedding planning process was compiling our registry. Alton and I were starting from scratch when we were first married and these are the top 10 things we needed and use the most.
A good cookware set, a mixer, a knife set, and silverware are absolutely essential for everyday cooking and eating. These are what I registered for and a year later they are serving me very well. I grow tired of things easily so I would suggest sticking with neutrals and classics to avoid growing tired of them.
A great coffee maker, a luxury china set, and a quality cutting board aren’t absolute necessities, but I find that I use mine daily. For the things that you use the most you want to get the highest quality possible!
I allowed myself a few luxury items on the Wedding registry which were a nice set of bath towels and this Mackenzie Child’s tea kettle. A wedding is such a big occasion and I will always cherish my tea kettle because it reminds me of how excited I was to get married.
