I call this space the little nook because it’s what separates the kitchen from the living room. I originally planned on putting some kind of bar cart or hutch and decorating. I really like this console table because I could easily put a bar on it or style it like I have now.

When we eventually move, this will transition to the entry way, but I love that it displays the art so beautifully and houses our blankets. These lamps are so versatile as well. I’ve had them in the bedroom, the living room, and now on this console. They are my favorite because they make a statement without taking up a lot of visual space.

This apartment kitchen is very spacious, but the cabinets are very dark and the countertops are formica. I sneaked a picture of how spacious it is at the bottom of the post. For an apartment, it really is an incredibly spacious floor plan and I love making the most of it with fun spaces like this.
