Dear Salem Anyone,
Always remember the passion and courage it took to start this adventure and never, ever lose it. Continue to relentlessly pursue your passion and your dreams without fear. Do not put your worth on the line here, you are worthy of love no matter if you succeed greatly or face failure. The time you spend filling your cup with things that make you happy are sacred and always worth your time. You are a better human when you fulfill your own needs before the needs of others. Always voice what you want and not the things you don’t, for what you speak about you attract. Put intention into everything and start with “why”, it will lead you to your truth and to your intuition.
Be relentlessly authentic. You were made you on purpose and that’s your superpower- no one else can be you.
Have the courage to trust your intuition. When something doesn’t feel right it’s because it isn’t. Recognize it and know that you have the power to change it. Never forget your power of choice in all that you do. You and you alone are in charge of your life and your circumstances, no excuses. If you aren’t happy, shift your mindset. Take responsibility for your life and your choices. The great, the bad, the mediocre, the half-assed, the uninformed, the courageous, and the cowardly- no matter what kind of choices you make, take responsibility.
Practice radical self-love. Wake up every morning proud of who you are and what you’ve accomplished and what you’ve yet to accomplish. Don’t believe the story your mind or “ego” tells you. It will get so creative with the shade it will throw.
Know your truth. Live your truth.

For my first blog post here I wanted to share with you a letter I wrote to myself as an exercise I did in a yoga workshop on “True North.” In yoga, your True North is subjective to your own practice and your own belief. I defined my True North as complete and total alignment. The place where my body and mind meet with something higher than myself. In this workshop we wrote these letters for times when we needed redirection or to remember why we started.
There is no other way to kick this adventure here off than to be vulnerable and share my truth with you all. I started this to share my design and inspire others, but on the deepest level of that, to live my passion and my truth. I re-addressed the letter above and crossed out my name and put “Anyone”, because this letter is your reminder to live your truth and to redirect you to why you started. I can’t wait to see what we create here together.
XO
