If you’ve been following along on my instagram stories then you know Alton and I had the not-so-fun financial talk the other night. It’s a hard pill to swallow when you know you’ve been spending too much. It’s healthy to treat yourself every now and then, because we work hard! When it becomes a problem you have to be ready to face the music. I wasn’t quite ready, but we had it anyway. Being forgiving and realistic are key ingredients to money talks and a happy marriage. I always forgive myself and Alton when we realize we have gotten off-track because there is no point harping on it!
The entire reason we had the “money talk” in the first place is because……. We’re buying a house! I didn’t want to jinx it, but it’s so early in the process that it’s okay. When we find the right house, you’ll be the first to know! Right now we’ve been pre-approved for a mortgage and have a few offers floating around.
Now, to Easter dresses! It’s that time of year and we all deserve a beautiful Easter dress for church or brunch (or both). I’ve put together a few of my favorites and broken them up by budget below. I know I’m watching my budget!
