After we closed on our biggest project yet, more on that here, I thought things would settle down and I’d be able to jump into a routine and be “comfortable.” Tell God your plans & he laughs….. Just as I was settling into our “new normal” I tested positive for COVID-19, and just like that Alton and I were quarantined for 14+ days. It was a terrible experience and I am so thankful that we are both recovering.
After a LOT of reflection on where we’ve come and where we are going….. I came to the realization that maybe I’m not supposed to be “comfortable” right now. It seems this season of my life is calling me to be super uncomfortable so I can grow into something greater. I have shared multiple times that there is something I cannot wait to share with you all…. And it’s true! I can’t wait to share. I also want to be honest with you and recovering from the coronavirus set us back from completing everything we needed for our next big venture.
Our New Apartment
I’ve felt inspired and excited to tackle our new apartment nestled on the beautiful Davis Island. It is nowhere near the most fabulous, high end, place. It has character, charm, and most of all, it was the best decision for us financially. My favorite thing so far is the view from the kitchen window. The light that shines in the morning mixed with gorgeous palm trees and the most adorable building with gridded windows renews my inspiration daily.
I can’t wait to share more with you!
