This week has been one for the books! This space is my outlet and a place to channel my creativity. I have been applying to the Rewardstyle program for a year and it’s not an easy process. This week I got the acceptance email and I started ugly crying at work! Luckily, I work for lululemon and it’s a daily occurrence. I had my entire team hooting and hollering for me like I just won an Oscar or something. All this being said, without each and every one of you, I wouldn’t be where I am. I cannot express my gratitude enough to all of you.
Thank you so very much for supporting me and reading along.
Social media can be a very lonely place and if we allow it, negativity can creep in. This past week we celebrated International Women’s Day and I got the privilege to spend it with incredible women from the Tampa Bay area at an empowerment workshop. The theme of the night was identifying and letting go of the stories that we create that hold us back from reaching our fullest potential. Those experiences from middle school or high school, or maybe even college that make us feel less than or an outsider. These experiences can scar us and effect everything we do subconsciously.
Here is the thing: By holding on to the feelings that these experiences created, we are giving other’s our power. Let go of that negativity that holds us back so we can step into our potential.
Is there something that you’ve always wanted to do, but have never done? Ask yourself what is holding you back? Let that shit go and do those things because you may surprise yourself at how successful you will be.
