Hi friends! We have so much to catch up on so grab a cup of tea (or beverage of choice) and lets chat! I usually start these off with a quote or experience that resonated with me. Here it goes:
We all have that gut instinct. When the hard decisions have to be made you know in your heart what is right or wrong for you. This has played a huge role lately in my life. I have been thrown a lot of situations lately that have given me the opportunity to really hone in on my intuition. I believe I’ve shared it here, but Alton’s dream of becoming a Fighter Pilot in the Air Force could potentially be coming to fruition in the upcoming weeks. The hiring process takes anywhere from 9-11 months so we have that looming over us. We have decided to flip a house in the meantime for profit and I’ve had it on my heart to re-brand my blog.
With all the decisions and opportunities, all really great, it forces you to rely on your intuition. Sure we’ve prayed and prayed over our journey and where we’re being led However, there are consequences to inaction. We have to be quick with our decisions if we are going to set ourselves up for success and financial stability. I shared we had the ‘money talk’ and as hard as it is to face those instant gratification moments of spending, you have to look it in the face. It helps when you come to the conversation with an open heart and a forgiving mindset. We had it and realized that we need to be saving more than we actually are (who doesn’t?) and it’s in those day to day decisions where we need to use that gut instinct. I always think “I know I shouldn’t be buying… But I have to have it, it’s such a good deal and it will last forever.” NO girl! You know that’s the wrong decision, which is why you have to justify it!
In the face of tough decisions trust that feeling in your heart. That slight tug to what you know is right that you sense is right. Trust it. Have the confidence to stand in your truth and allow it to move you closer to your goals. Play for that audience of one and make yourself proud by authentically choosing the path to which you’re called.
