Who else struggles with swimwear? Almost every woman I’ve ever talked to on this subject feels the same way. Like they’d rather watch paint dry then go try on swimwear and I’m right there with ya sister.
The biggest pain is a fun suit that is completely dysfunctional. It’s all fun and games and you’re feeling sexy until the second a cold wind comes in and you have no padding or you go swimming and your bottoms are up your behind. Alton and I spend a lot of time in the summer on his family’s boat and there is no time on a boat for fidgeting with your swim suit!
I have been so impressed with how this piece has performed! It has the one shoulder detail so I don’t have to worry about the girls- or lack thereof in my case. The bottoms are super high-rise and high-cut so I can drink a few Pacifico’s and all the chips and salsa my heart desires and still look fabulous. The bottoms show just enough cheeks to feel flirty, but look classy at the same time.
The best part? It was $30! Basically I’m Meredith Blake from the Parent Trap who is basically my style icon. The most elegant suit and my chic hat and I’m ready for a boat day or the beach with no fuss.
